Summary
The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) is seeking an undergraduate student interested in a dynamic summer internship focused on identifying and implementing organization-wide sustainability solutions. Over 8+ weeks, you'll have the opportunity to be responsible for completing short-term projects and a longer-term independent project. As a Sustainability Student Intern in the Facility Services department, you will report to the Sustainability Program Manager to determine the focus of the independent project based on the needs of JAX and your experience and interests, and will work with them to develop specific milestones and expectations to assess your progress throughout the summer. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainability and eager to engage in a wide range of duties, including hands-on activities, program planning, research, and partnering with employees across the organization. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, adaptable, collaborative, and enjoys problem-solving. The hourly pay rate is $17.50-25.00. Hourly rate will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
