Job Description

ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt System Administrator. Candidate will work remotely from their home office.

What you will be doing:

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the operational maintenance and support of the company's technology and infrastructure. The System Administrator will deliver and enforce the technical directives and strategy of the Chief Information Officer which includes acting as technical lead aiding the IT staff on all support tickets. The selected candidate will identify any support process improvements, assist with the auditing of tickets to ensure technical accuracy and audit end users for compliance with established policies and conventions.

Here are the minimum requirements:



  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with:

    • Network troubleshooting and protocols
    • Server and workstation configuration and support concepts and tasks
    • Server-side and end user security solutions
    • Working in a ticket system
    • Windows 10+troubleshooting
    • Windows application troubleshooting


  • Minimum of two (2) years of PowerShell experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Azure product suite experience
  • Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
  • Valid Driver's License



Bonus Points if you have system engineering experience!

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. Able to make quick decisions, present to staff and clients, have difficult conversations and supervise staff. The employee is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This role requires the employee to travel regularly to meet with clients or vendors which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations. While meeting with clients and vendors, will need to be outdoors traversing different types of landscapes. May be exposed to the elements (heat, rain, snow, cold).
