Veridian Homes, an innovative company with an emphasis on smart growth and green built practices, is seeking a Residential Architectural Specialist to join our architecture team! This role focuses on enhancing our single-family and multi-family home portfolio, aligning with market trends, construction standards, and our company values. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Lead creative direction and design philosophy to deliver innovative architectural solutions. Review and enhance home plan portfolios based on trends, supply chain insights, and best practices. Develop detailed construction drawings and 3D renderings using Revit. Research architectural trends and recommend integration into product offerings. Ensure neighborhood plans align with architectural and municipal standards. Collaborate with advisory and development teams to drive design innovation. Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on design and planning. Create schematic plans, refine designs, and ensure code compliance. Customize plans with the Sales Team while adhering to standards. Review and approve final plans, permit documents, and architectural submissions. Support neighborhood development, including home siting and amenity designs. Present architectural highlights at events and assist with customer-specific design needs. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture and design, with at least 5 years in residential home design. Architectural license preferred but not required. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp). Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
