Professional Development Specialist

As a Corporate Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of effective learning programs that support employee development and organizational goals. You will deliver engaging and effective learning sessions using a variety of methods (classroom training, virtual training, eLearning, and blended learning) to ensure that our employees acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively perform their job. Successful candidates in this role typically possess excellent facilitation skills, time management, and a passion for training!

Qualifications:

*College degree required. Will consider professional experience in lieu of education. Bachelor's degree preferred.
*One (1) year of relevant work experience in training or educational processes to include design, delivery, and evaluation of core curriculum programs.
*One (1) year experience as a back-end user with Learning Management Systems and computer-based training.
*Facilitation/presentation skills required.
*Working knowledge with PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
*Sales training experience a plus.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Project management, time management and superior organizational skills a must.
*Ability to work with all levels of management and demonstrate critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

*Execute learning strategy to include designing, developing, managing, delivering, and maintaining learning programs.
*Present as a subject matter expert as a trainer.
*Utilize adult learning methodologies, learning modalities, visual design tools, and assessment methodologies to evaluate specific needs of trainees.
* Maintain effective communication and collaborate effectively with training team and all employees across the organization.
* Evaluate effectiveness of learning programs through needs assessments identifying performance gaps, learning needs and skill development opportunities.
*Develop and track training data for overall employee development programs.
*Manage, coordinate, and deliver new hire orientation where the culture is identified and expectations are clearly provided.
*Maintain the service culture within the department and across the organization.
*All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.
