Territory Development Manager - Washington or New Hampshire

Background

Our Territory Development Managers are responsible for driving sales, building relationships and expanding our company's market share within the defined geographical area through implementing annual sales strategies and leveraging resource tools. This includes, but is not limited to, partnering with Customer Experience, Product Management and Operations to ensure closed loop customer engagement with Gemini.

Competence in this role is achieved through becoming an expert in Gemini's products and capabilities, customer relations, industry trends and competitor positioning as well as developing a keen ability to seek out and drive new business growth. Success is based upon your ability to meet or exceed established sales targets set by the organization while participating in overall company goals.

Essential Functions

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, competencies and expectations to perform this role successfully.

Territory Development and Customer Relation Management:

* Actively identify and pursue business opportunities to achieve growth targets

* Build and maintain stable relationships with existing and new customers to ensure satisfaction and retention

* Align with sales strategies and resource tools to maximize revenue potential

* Monitor territory to provide insight on sales performance, forecast expectations and market insights for areas of improvement

* Execute on Marketing initiatives such as lead follow-up and campaign engagement/adoption

* Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly

* Engage effectively with all digital tools and communication platforms; be an ambassador for customer digital adoption where applicable.

* Professionally represents Gemini at all times - industry meetings, trade shows, conferences and events; in-person and virtually.

Territory Planning and Team Collaboration

* Organize and schedule visits and virtual meetings with customers and prospects within assigned geographical area optimizing territory coverage to reach sales potential

* Conduct thorough market analysis, assessing customer demands

* Work closely with internal teams to position Gemini to win on opportunities, gain in customer acquisitions and maintain brand loyalty and engagement within customer base

* Monitor competitor activities and report on adaptive strategies accordingly

* Regularly update management on territory performance through detailed reporting platforms and communication tools

* Maintain active feedback loop to the team about customer needs and preferences

Required Skills and Abilities

* Achieves results and adjusts accordingly to meet goals with the business environment and processes

* Demonstrates excellence in communication, active listening, presentations and delivery both written and verbal, in-person and virtually

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

* Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role

* Proficient in MS Office

* Familiar with CRM tools

* Ability to travel domestically within your designated territory 50+% and within other regions or internationally when required.

* Resides in Washington or New Hampshire
