Summary:

The Administrative Support III will support the Force Projection Directorate (FPD) for US Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA).


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide integration of information management business practices and rules into the operational architecture; data dictionaries, and data standards to achieve the objective of cost reductions, performance gains and optimization of resources.
  • Shall ensure that the goals, objectives, and functionality of processing and packaging materiel at USAMMA sites meet the requirements set forth in the contract.
  • Perform requirements management for the processing and packaging of medical materiel at multiple USAMMA sites, utilizing requirements management methods focused on identifying, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting the functional requirements that are associated with materiel handling core business functions.
  • Assist with the USAMMA mission by providing automated information system operators for such sytems as; Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS), and Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army). Contractor shall ensure that all hired personnel are trained on or can attend a training for all the above-named systems to be capable of processing materiel at USAMMA sites to fulfil the mission needs.
  • Shall obtain outside points of view and/or consultation to avoid too limited judgment on critical issues. Such outside contacts and consultations should include, but is not limited to, the following:
    • The Contractor shall obtain advice regarding developments in industry, university, or foundation research.
    • The Contractor shall obtain the opinions, special knowledge, or skills of noted experts.
    • The Contractor shall enhance the understanding of and developing alternative solutions to complex issues.
    • The Contractor shall research and review existing standards and assist in developing new policies and procedures.
    • Outside contacts and consultations shall be used by the contractor to assist with developing, implementing, and evaluating plans through After-Action Reports (AARs) and other appropriate evaluation tools.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks while contributing to team efforts
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare, logistics, or government/military operations
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to successfully pass an employment background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Experience working with government contracts or within the Department of Defense is a plus
  • Familiarity with medical logistics, or quality control is desirable

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 annually.
