How You'll Perform the Role

The EH&S Manager in our clamshell organization is responsible for leading the EH&S and control functions to ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, & Safety standards and maintaining high-safety standards throughout the organization. This role involves developing and implementing EH&S management systems, leading audits, and inspections, managing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EH&S.



  • Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs that comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct environmental assessments, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and environmental impacts.
  • Establish and enforce EH&S policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Provide training and education to employees on EH&S practices, regulations, and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze EH&S performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for proactive initiatives.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, internal auditors, and external stakeholders on EH&S-related matters.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage waste disposal, recycling programs, and other environmental initiatives to minimize the organization's environmental footprint.
  • Develop and maintain EH&S records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work in collaboration with the Quality Manager in overseeing janitorial department employees and ordering of supplies.


What We Need From You

  • Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, certification in EH&S preferred.
  • OSHA 511 Certification preferred
  • Experience of 3-5+ years in an EH&S preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in EH&S management.
  • Experience in conducting environmental assessments, risk assessments, incident investigations, and EH&S training.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in EH&S management software and tools.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, Hazmat, or other relevant certifications may be required.
  • Proven experience in managing audits, inspections, and quality improvement projects.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge and ability to establish internal audit system and ensure external audit compliance.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective action skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and work as needed to meet timelines and achieve goals.
