POSITION SUMMARY:

Bravida Medical is a leading innovator in infection prevention and wound care solutions, dedicated to improving patient outcomes through advanced medical devices and cutting-edge technology. We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to lead our clinical strategy, ensure product efficacy, and support the company's mission of delivering safe, effective, and impactful medical devices.

Essential Functions (ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES):

Clinical Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and oversee the clinical strategy to support the company's mission and product portfolio.
  • Guide the clinical aspects of product development, ensuring alignment with regulatory, scientific, and patient care standards.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, executive team, and board of directors, providing expert advice on clinical trends and opportunities in infection prevention and wound care.

Research & Development

  • Lead clinical research initiatives, including the design and implementation of clinical trials, post-market studies, and evidence generation.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure clinical input is integrated into product development.
  • Drive the evaluation and validation of new technologies and innovations in infection prevention and wound care.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Oversee the development of clinical documentation for regulatory submissions (e.g., FDA, CE, ISO) and ensure compliance with global regulatory standards.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies during clinical evaluations, audits, and product reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical practices in clinical research and patient safety protocols.

Medical Education & Training

  • Lead the development of educational programs and materials for healthcare professionals, ensuring the effective use of Bravida Medical products.
  • Provide thought leadership through participation in industry events, publications, and speaking engagements.
  • Support sales and marketing teams with clinical expertise, including presentations to customers and stakeholders.

Clinical Operations

  • Manage clinical teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and industry partners.
  • Oversee the development and management of clinical budgets and timelines.

Market Insights & Strategy

  • Monitor clinical and industry trends in infection prevention and wound care, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure customer-centric and clinically informed product positioning.
Qualifications:

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of clinical leadership experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a focus on infection prevention or wound care.
  • Proven track record in clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory submission.
  • Strong knowledge of global healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

Education

  • MD, DO, PhD, or advanced degree in healthcare-related fields required.
  • Additional certifications in infection prevention, wound care, or related specialties preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel

  • Clincal field work, sales support, trade shows, & company meetings will require regular travel
