We Require
Four years of post-graduate clinical experience Valid, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Arizona or eligible to obtain upon hire Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field

Supervisory experience Certification by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care as a Certified Correctional Health Professional Experience with triaging internal and external referrals Experience with coordinating the completion of Mental Health Petitions with community providers and testifying in court Bilingual skills in Spanish and English
Job Contributions
Optimizes and oversees patient care and service delivery through the development and implementation of policies and clinical practice guidelines Facilitates training for mental health staff regarding processes, policies, and protocols associated with technology, documentation, correctional safety standards, and National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) standards Engages mental health staff in professional and clinical skills development, acquisition of continuing education units, performance goal setting, and accountability for progress Collaborates with Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), CHS departments, Mental Health Managers, Community Clinic representatives, and administration regarding the entire continuum of patient safety and health Provides direct clinical care during staff absences if necessary and engages the support of colleagues as needed when barriers to service provision arise Provides guidance and support for all assigned licensed and unlicensed mental health staff through regular clinical supervision Participates with colleagues in ongoing program development, enhancement and expansion of services, and change initiative management Cooperates with human resources in the recruitment, selection, and training of new staff Facilitates and documents team meetings with the standards set by NCCHC Coordinates staff schedules and attendance; reviews, approves, and submits biweekly employee timesheets Problem-solves complex situations and emergencies
