Overview

The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work independently. The candidate will have experience with computer aided drafting and civil design support. This position offers the opportunity to provide CADD drafting and design skills to support a wide variety of projects.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Create detailed engineering drawings for all areas of projects in conformance with the design criteria and project requirements.
- Provide engineering design support including, site layout, grading, and erosion and sedimentation control.
- Receive and transmit digital files of various types between clients, team members, and other team consultants.
- All other duties assigned by engineering staff.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in the application of drafting principles of AutoCAD. Civil3D software knowledge would be a plus.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to lower classified drafting personnel.
- Review the work of lower classified drafting personnel to assure accuracy and conformance to design requirements.
- Perform work assignments in accordance with the project scope of work and with applicable CAD drafting standards.
- Work with others as a contributing member of a project design group.
- Familiarity with MicroStation would be a plus.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills.
- Requires proven team leadership experience.
- Must be able to clearly communicate to other team members and client personnel.
- Proficient in PC operation, including spreadsheet and word processing programs.
- Strong attention to details.
- Ability to work in a team environment


Qualifications

Education:
Graduate of two-year technical college would be a plus

Professional Experience:
5+ years of design/drafting work experience

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

USD $50,000.00 - USD $60,000.00 /Yr.
