INVISTA is seeking a North America Business Development Manager to join the Business Development and Marketing team in Kennesaw, GA. This role will support the CORDURA Advanced Fabrics brand, who have been leading the fabrics industry for over 55 years, offering high-performance fabric for apparel and gear. They are a trusted by leading end-use brands and used globally by militaries for protection.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to focus on expanding our market presence in both military and consumer brand sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, and drive innovation and differentiation in CORDURA's product offerings.

This global team focuses on driving growth and innovation within the company by developing strategic marketing initiatives and business development plans to enhance INVISTA's market presence. The team collaborates closely with various departments to ensure alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.

What You Will Do
* Market Analysis & Strategy Development: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities in the military and consumer brand sectors. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth and increase market share.
* Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including military procurement officials, consumer brand managers, and supply chain partners. Act as a liaison between potential partners and the internal CORDURA team to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
* Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of business development initiatives. Coordinate with product development, marketing, and commercial sales teams to align strategies and deliver innovative solutions to partners.
* Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the military and consumer brand sectors. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
* Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand ambassador for CORDURA, promoting the brand's values, mission, and product offerings. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
* Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on key performance indicators, market trends, and competitor activities. Provide regular updates to senior management on business development progress and challenges.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree or higher in textiles or business/financial discipline.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or related fields, preferably within the textile or performance fabrics industry.
* Experience developing and executing growth strategies with measurable business success.
* Experience leading teams or projects.
* This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead
* Experience working with military specifications and procurement and/or experience working with end use consumer brands (i.e. The North Face, Levi's, Carhartt, etc) in the gear, apparel, or footwear space.
* Experience in textiles at the fabric manufacturing, design, or development level.
* Experience in guiding a team in rapidly developing and commercializing innovative products for military or consumer markets.
* In-depth knowledge of military supply chains including government procurement and commercial channels and/or in-depth knowledge of consumer brand supply chains.
