Responsibilities

Excellent opportunity for a Hospitalist interested in practicing in Kansas City! Great location with easy access by highways. Large medical center with multi-specialist support. This is a traditional hospitalist program with 7 days on and 7 days off. The physician will take admissions from the ED, direct admissions from outside providers and consults from specialists. This is a day-time only position. Nights are covered by nocturnists. NPs assist with admissions and discharges, allowing you time to round. Large team dedicated to discharges assists with placement. Flexible call schedule limits admission times and gets you home early on most days. Friendly staff and great support from administration. This is a hospital employed job. No Hospitalist Group to take your paycheck. Fair and equal distribution of patients and work matched with a competitive salary makes this a great opportunity! The job will require the candidate to obtain a Missouri medical license.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

1. 3-5 years work experience

2. Graduate of a University/Program with a Doctorate Degree of Medicine or Osteopathic? MD or DO

3. Current Medical License - MD or DO

4. Unrestricted Current DEA Registration

5. Current Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration
