Job Overview

STS Line Maintenance is seeking highly motivated A&P Aviation Maintenance Technicians to join our growing line maintenance station in Reno, NV (RNO). As a Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will support the daily maintenance operations and ensure an exceptional experience for our customers by providing top-level service. We offer a starting pay rate between $34and $45 per hour, based on experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with airlines, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers to maintain aircraft in compliance with airworthiness standards and applicable regulations.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair a variety of transport category aircraft (Airbus A320, Boeing B737, B757, B767, CRJ, and Embraer 170/190).
  • Use precision instruments to measure parts and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and integrity in all work performed.
  • Perform work outdoors and in inclement weather as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no infractions.
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft is a plus.
  • Preferred experience on Boeing 737, 757, 767, Airbus A320, ERJ 145/170/190, CRJ 700/900.
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tools provided).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while troubleshooting and repairing aircraft airframes, engines, and associated systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Must pass background checks, drug and alcohol tests, and Customs & Border Patrol clearance.
  • Experience working under an FAA approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 is preferred.
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and follow technical documentation.
  • Must be flexible and able to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation

  • Starting Pay: $32- $45/hour based on experience..
