Position: Senior Technology Manager

Location: 1 Freedom Valley Drive, Oaks, PA 19456

Job Duties: The Senior Technology Manager relies on experience managing technology projects, as well as 3rd party software Quartz Accounting, tax accounting, Scientific Amortization & Accretion (SAA) processing, Azure cloud and its application, transformation to cloud and Systems Integration patterns, timely delivery of the Sprints/PSI's, SAFe or iterative development processes, quality and testing best practices, large-scale projects requiring the integration of 3rd party software within technical infrastructure, as well as managing 3rd party software development, and object-oriented development methodology for J2EE/UNIX/Oracle environment, including design, testing and performance engineering. The Senior Technology Manager is responsible for the following: mentoring teams that are responsible for delivery of successful outcomes and facilitating the teams' progress toward the Platform delivery objectives; leading the team's efforts in continuous improvement. Ensuring all employees receive timely and relevant performance feedback. Identifying and tracking cross-team dependencies; eliminating impediments by actively addressing issues with other scrum teams so that the team can stay focused on achieving objectives. Facilitating preparation and readiness for Spring and PSI Planning meetings; Responsible for creating and driving process to ensure timely and high quality delivery; coordinating teams operating under architecture and portfolio guidance, system-level integration and escalating impediments and risks to the RTE that cannot be resolved at the team level; facilitating team collaboration to ensure high quality technical delivery to drive testing strategies, testing automation, and overall quality process improvement; supporting RTE and Scrum Masters in Train/Team retrospectives and continuous improvement activities; and working with Product Management and Product Owner to help assure strategy and execution alignment.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Management, or related plus seven (7) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Technical Lead/Analyst/Developer, or Scrum Master, or related occupation. Five (5) years of experience managing technology projects. Two (2) years of experience in each of the following: 3rd party software Quartz Accounting, tax accounting, Scientific Amortization & Accretion (SAA) processing, One (1) year of experience with each of the following: Azure cloud and its application, transformation to cloud and Systems Integration patterns; Scrum, XP, and SAFEe; timely delivery of the Sprints/PSI's, SAFe or iterative development processes, quality and testing best practices; large-scale projects requiring the integration of 3rd party software within common technical infrastructure, as well as managing 3rd party software development; and object-oriented development methodology for J2EE/UNIX/Oracle environment, including design, testing and performance engineering.
