Job Description
Job Summary: The VDC Project Manager ensures that all contracted modeling work is developed, implemented, tracked, managed, and reported in accordance with the Company's requirements, including but not limited to, quality management, schedule durations, and financial performance. General Job Duties and Responsibilities: The VDC Project Manager will manage, monitor, track, and report the VDC progress and delivery according to internal and external customer needs. The VDC Project Manager will plan for, monitor and maintain VDC project financials. The VDC Project Manager will manage all model quality and scheduling issues. The VDC Project Manager will participate in the estimating and bid process. The VDC Project Manager acts as the Company liaison to interface with customer representative(s). The VDC Project Manager will create, maintain, and distribute VDC project dashboards tracking progress, staffing, hours, financials. The VDC Project Manager will help recruit, hire, train, manage, and supervise all project related staff. Other responsibilities as assigned. Physical and Mental Requirements: The VDC Project Manager must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s). Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners. Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s). Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements. Must be able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed. Must have the ability to learn Company and customer project management systems. The Security Systems Foreman must also have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements. Must be able to secure and maintain a Company sponsored American Express Card. Regular attendance is mandatory. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company. Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project, and Power BI). Must meet Company minimum driving standards. Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Must have demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks and manage these to final completion and customer turnover. Career Path: Position promotes into VDC Manager or VDC Director. Min USD $85,000.00/Yr. Max USD $110,000.00/Yr.
