The Role:

The Sr. Manager - FP&A is a high visibility role that demonstrates accountability for functional and business objectives.

In this role you will integrate and develop processes to meet business needs, manage complex issues within functional areas, drive long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy with reliable financial analysis. It is an ideal development role to make the move into a more strategic and business-oriented role with international and corporate exposure in a fast moving and developing organization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, reporting, and quarterly pacing process - linking the Electric Thermal Business units into the Spirax Corporate processes.
  • Establishes best practices in forecasting and budgeting, including timelines, templates, and consolidation processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting that aligns with business objectives, strategy, and leadership responsibilities.
  • Lead the review/analysis of monthly historical financial results to guide the organization regarding consolidated results' performance, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Cross-functional support in performance management, analysis, and identification of opportunities for improvement across the ETS division's four business units.
  • Evolve and refine the business metrics and reporting, providing insightful information to leadership and designing dashboards to provide transparency on essential KPIs.
  • Perform value-added ad-hoc analyses that help drive the decision-making process.

Requirements:

  • At least 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting; a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • An MBA or CPA is a plus, not required.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to step back and analyze the overall business impact
  • Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, including maintaining highly confidential information
  • Be results-driven, self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to complete assigned tasks; results-driven.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Engineering and/or Business to Business industries
  • Interaction with overseas corporate parent and IFRS reporting experience
