  • Estimated annual base pay:
    • Level 1: $66,400(minimum) - $83,000(midpoint) - $99,600(maximum)
    • Level 2: $75,200(minimum) - $94,000(midpoint) - $112,800(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Operations Supervisor, we have an exciting opportunity for you. As an Operations Supervisor in our Gas Flow Assembly and Test line, you will be a dynamic leader, responsible for guiding and developing your team in direct production. Your primary focus will be to drive a culture of safety, quality, and timely delivery on the shop floor. Utilizing your project management skills, you will oversee projects and ensure that your team meets their goals, while empowering them to solve challenges independently. Additionally, you will use lean manufacturing principles and tools to optimize processes and improve efficiency, and you will apply your problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that arise, ensuring smooth and continuous operations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build and mentor team members, guiding them to reach the next level in their professional development and ensuring adherence to work instructions and quality requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain departmental and individual goals and performance measures, aligning them to support overall organizational goals.
  • Actively motivate and recognize team and project members, leading strategic projects within the functional area.
  • Clearly communicate and advocate the vision, strategies, and alignment grids for the organization and functional area.
  • Collaborate on continuous process improvement and cost reduction plans, and evaluate and optimize work tools, processes, and equipment.
  • Oversee staffing requirements, performance evaluations, development, discipline, terminations, and identify training needs related to safety, quality, and new technologies.

What We Are Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a two- or four-year degree in a related discipline is desired.
  • Level 1: Less than 2 years previous leadership experience required (e.g. direct leadership, team lead, mentoring, projects, etc.).
  • Level 2: 2+ years of leadership experience (e.g., direct leadership, team lead, mentoring, projects) with strong skills in motivating teams and resolving complex member-related issues.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing operations required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Solid mentoring and guiding skills.
  • Effective organizational and prioritization abilities for managing day-to-day activities within the functional area. Utilize lean principles and tools to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
