Department's Website: Parent and Family Graduate Assistants are expected to be student-centered, administratively sound, task-oriented, relationship-oriented, have the ability to problem solve, must have the ability to work autonomously as well as with a team and be proficient with computers. Small and large group facilitation skills, strong customer service skills and the ability to work successfully with a variety of constituents are also highly desired. Key Duties Include: *Assist P&F Leadership Team members in the development, implementation, and assessment of all departmental programs and initiatives. This position will specifically work with the following: *Family Weekend and Spring Family Reunion *Regional Razorback Family Networks *Social Media and Marketing *Parent & Guest Orientation *Information about each program is available at http://family.uark.edu and http://nsfp.uark.edu *Parent & Family Programs Professional Development *Assist in the creation and production of program publications *Complete evaluation reports and implementation binders for all projects under their direct purview *Maintain regular office hours *Attend staff departmental meetings and retreats *Attend Division of Student Affairs meetings, programs and professional development opportunities as assigned by supervisor *Work collaboratively with a variety of Student Affairs staff as needed *This list of duties, tasks, and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
