Description

Role Summary

The Associate Content Administrator is responsible for managing the administration of basic website content requests and performing various website content updates. Focused time management, excellent customer service and support as well as a growth mindset as you learn and implement content administration tasks is key to this position along with the ability to prioritize and ask relevant questions. Those who communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders will also excel in this role.

What will you be engaged in day-to-day?

  • Adding, creating, and maintaining client content information in a Drupal, SharePoint, WordPress, or other content management system (CMS), in collaboration with web developers.
  • Reviewing basic web content, links, and design, providing necessary updates for broken links and updated content and enhancements as necessary.
  • Learning mobile-first 508-standards and ensuring that the client sites adhere to these standards.
  • Copying, pasting and formatting content to ensure it reflects the intended client request.
  • Uploading imagery and graphics as needed to the client websites.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure content is updated in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy.
  • Critically evaluating content updates and ensuring quality control of changes.
  • Tracking deliverable progress and proactively reporting out to internal and external stakeholders on tasks completed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements

What qualifications will help you succeed?

  • B.S. or B.A. in computer science or related field of study, or at least 1 year of applicable experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven website content management experience, preferably having worked in a Drupal CMS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics, website administration tools, and social media applications.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention-to-detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • A team player approach with a demonstrated ability to collaborate internally with developers and project managers and externally with clients.
  • Commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service to all stakeholders.

There are many factors that influence our total compensation packages including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, years of applicable work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. As such, we aim to offer competitive industry compensation, benefits and learning and development opportunities - all as part of our total compensation package. At IQ Solutions, our total compensation package is inclusive of comprehensive benefits for full-time staff which include: medical, dental and vision insurance, well-being programs, and financial, retirement, family support, professional development, and paid time off benefits. The estimated pay range for this position is: $47,500 in our lowest geographic market up to $53,000 in our highest geographic market, annually. Elements of our total compensation package are also based on an employee's performance in their role as well as the company meeting its annual organizational goals.
