Qualifications you'll bring:



  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field


    • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or related regulated industry preferred


  • 5+ years of experience in data product management, with a proven track record of building and scaling data product capabilities
  • Strong technical background with deep understanding of data technologies, architectures, and analytics platforms
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders and influence decision-making.


  • Exceptional discovery skills, including:


    • Ability to conduct comprehensive user research and stakeholder interviews
    • Expertise in defining and executing effective discovery processes
    • Skill in uncovering hidden user needs and translating them into product requirements




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Understanding of machine learning and AI technologies
  • Advanced discovery and research skills, including:


    • User research methodologies
    • Interview techniques
    • Data gathering and analysis
    • Prototype and hypothesis testing
    • Qualitative and quantitative research methods


  • Familiarity with Azure cloud data platforms
  • Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth
  • Humility to play as a team
  • Commitment to being the difference for our customers in every interaction



Your Key Responsibilities:



  • Partner closely with our Chief Data Officer and Enterprise data to:



    • Develop and implement the foundational framework for data product management within our organization.
    • Develop and maintain detailed roadmaps for data products, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
    • Create comprehensive data product strategies that align with our broader business objectives.
    • Navigate and manage complex, ambiguous environments with confidence and clarity.
    • Design and standardize processes for data product development, lifecycle management, and governance.
    • Collaborate effectively across multiple cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, business units, and executive leadership.
    • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business requirements.
    • Facilitate resolution of conflicting perspectives through strategic communication and diplomatic negotiation.
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for data products.
    • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress through compelling written documents and presentations.
