Position Summary

We are seeking qualified candidates for the Senior Systems Architect who will lead the transformation of the TRADOC G2 Operational Environment Enterprise (OEE) into a data-centric organization. This role focuses on acquiring, transforming, transferring, and maintaining data and information to replicate the OE for leader development, training, education, capability and concept development, experimentation, and home station training across the Army.

The Senior Systems Architect will support the TRADOC G-2 to execute its mission as TRADOC's designated Lead for its Core Function #13, the Operational Environment (OE), and provide support and services to TRADOC for Identifying, defining, and predicting the variables of the OE; implementing the analysis and supplanting the traditional focus regarding leader development and training as well as doctrine development; and providing SMEs and consultants to execute TRADOC G-2 special projects and missions.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

What You'll Do



  • Design IT architecture and systems integration within the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
  • Identify and resolve issues with existing systems and application architectures.
  • Develop and implement cloud architectures utilizing Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Ensure systems comply with security and accreditation requirements, including documentation and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct requirements analysis, risk management, configuration management, and infrastructure maintenance.


Requirements and Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise-level IT architecture and systems integration within the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) that provides visualization infrastructure for specific stakeholders concerns through viewpoints organized by various views
  • Proven experience in cloud architecture design and implementation including utilizing Cloud provided Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Familiarity with security and compliance procedures for maintaining system accreditation.
  • Demonstrated skills in requirements analysis, risk management, configuration management and verification, backup architecture management, infrastructure maintenance, and process documentation
  • Strong documentation and process management skills
  • Must comply with all government and contractual guidelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
