What You Can Expect Working in the Quality Administration Intern Position

The Quality Administration Intern will gain hands-on experience in quality management, process improvement, and ISO 9001 certification efforts within a manufacturing environment. The Quality Administration Intern plays a key role in supporting our quality management processes, with a focus on customer feedback collection, document control, reporting accuracy, and assisting with efforts related to ISO 9001 certification for various RedGuard facilities. Your work will help ensure that our products meet high-quality standards and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department while receiving real-world, practical skills through hands-on opportunities and connecting with subject matter experts, mentors, and decision makers.

Responsibilities
  • Assists with activities related to the company's ISO 9001 certification process, including internal audits, documentation reviews, and tracking compliance with quality standards.
  • Assists in collecting, organizing, and tracking customer feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct communications.
  • Compiles and analyzes customer complaints, product defects, and satisfaction surveys to identify trends or recurring issues.
  • Supports the quality department in maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for quality management systems (QMS).
  • Assists in organizing, filing, and managing all quality-related records, including non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and audit reports.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure quality records are complete, compliant, and readily available for internal and external audits.
  • Participates in team meetings and assists with other quality-related administrative tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Enrolled full-time in a university degree program aligned to the area of the internship.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills to interpret customer and company quality requirements to ensure conformance with customer expectations.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Environment

  • Sedentary work. The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
