Description Position at Hi Tech Collections Specialist Opportunity Please note: This is a full time, hourly position at our main office located in Las Vegas, NV from 7:30AM-4:00 PM Pay range: $20.00-$25.00 The Collections Specialist works closely with a portfolio of our valued customers to ensure payments are made within terms and follows up when payments are past due.The ideal candidatewould conductaccount research/reconciliations,resolving customer billing problems, secure payment on open invoices allwhile havingthe ability to build strong relationships with customers. A passion for delighting both internal and external customers is crucial for success in this role. A Typical Day: Engage with our valued customers by phone and email to collect on payments owed. Perform account and bank reconciliations as needed to ensure accounting records are aligned. Handle billing responsibilities, including posting transactions and sending mass emails to customers. Maintain strong internaland external customer relations and follow up on any necessary information needed to obtain payment. Achieve monthly AR percentage goals. Identify and negotiateapprovedpayment arrangements on past due balanceswhilemaintaininga strong customer relationship. Review orders on hold for release. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience ina collection,accounts receivable, or customer-facing type of role Experience in handling a large volume small dollar portfolio with outbound call goals. Must beself-motivated, customer-centric, andhighly organized. Experience reconciling AR accounts a plus. Ability to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team. Self-motivated,goal-oriented,with a proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Experience with Global Edge or other ERP softwarea plus. Must successfully complete a drug screen.
