Intern Commercial Credit

Welcome to your new internship opportunity as a summer Commercial Credit Intern at Mascoma Bank. Spend your summer mentored and engaged by our driven and collaborative commercial credit team. Primarily, you will be responsible for assisting the department in conducting annual financial reviews of existing commercial loan relationships to determine the continued credit worthiness of the borrower. This includes summarizing the findings in written reports.

As a requirement of this role, the intern will be a college student interested in accounting. The intern would have completed coursework in accounting at the intermediate to advanced level. Their strong analytical and communication skills will aid their success in this role. Knowledge of personal computers, software packages (mainly Microsoft Word and Excel), and internet and typing skills are needed. This detail-oriented intern will work well under pressure and meet deadlines. The ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy is required.

This position can be performed on-site or hybrid at our Operations Center in White River Junction, VT.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.50.
