Business Analyst

Inova Office of Research is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to join the team. This role will be full-time Monday - Friday, Hybrid Day shift.

Business Analyst Job Responsibilities:

• Assists with the Preparation of timely financial statements that are representative of the Research Service Line results.
• Coordinates or performs a wide variety of financial, administrative and/or data management activities to support research studies.
• Ensures that invoices are prepared and sent to Clinical Research Sponsors in a timely and accurate manner as outlines in agreements.
• Prepares accurate and complete journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Coordinates and tracks financial aspects of clinical study from project creation to study closure fostering the use of matrix and Oncore.
• Adheres to accounting principles, regulatory guidelines and Inova policies related to clinical trials.

Business Analyst Additional Requirements:

• Work schedule: 8-hour shift (Monday - Friday; Hybrid Day shift).
• Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Experience: Four (4) years' experience in related field.
