Job Title: Engineer Location(s): Charlotte, NC Job Duties: Our network engineering team keeps us ahead of the competition. As an RF Engineer, you'll be designing mature network areas to minimize capacity constraints and improve SINR while working with other areas of network to ensure performance fixes and initiatives are in place. You'll play a key role in making sure our customers continue to enjoy the crystal-clear connections and outstanding network performance that we're known for. Managing search area issuance, candidate assessment, and approvals. Partnering with System Performance to improve various network KPIs. Using internal tools to process regulatory compliance. Working on new cell sites, making sure the site is properly integrated into the network and optimized for peak performance. Performing Macro/Small Cell design/In Building design, including antenna selection and placement. Using knowledge of GSM, LTE, 5G to contribute to network design. Must Have Skills: A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science. 4+ Years of RF engineering experience with Atoll as Design tool Seasoned RF engineer with experience in RF design and optimization. Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE/5G/C-Band technology. Experience in RF design & optimization of cellular networks. Expert knowledge of propagation modeling softwareAtoll. Understanding of LTE network KPIs and key parameters. Experience with Model Tuning. Knowledge of various RF tools Knowledge of SQL scripting or VB Scripting is a plus Ability to demonstrate leadership skills by causing influence within the group and being recognized as a leader within and outside of his/her work group; training new contractors to the Engineer job function; serving as a positive role model; actively providing coaching and feedback to co-workers; leading large projects; demonstrating a positive, proactive leadership role including taking the initiative to identify matters of importance; resolving problems in a timely fashion; fostering a sense of teamwork; working well in an unstructured environment; engaging in group activities; translating functional/operational goals into team goals; establishing and modifying processes as needed to meet new challenges; demonstrating original thinking, openness to change, and alternative solutions; leading by example; demonstrating company values and policies; initiating action; and assuming ownership for decisions and results.
