Position Summary

Arts & Science is seeking a dedicated Department Administrator to join the Department of Psychology to oversee fiscal and program support for faculty, graduate students, and lab personnel. This role is integral to ensuring smooth processes, supporting faculty and their research needs, and maintaining the department's financial and operational efficiency.



Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with overseeing office and program activities, administering budgets and supervising staff.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.



Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
