We are currently seeking Sanitation Leads to work from our manufacturing facility located in Kings Mountain, NC. The Sanitation Lead provides primary leadership of the sanitation team related to all sanitation activities. They assist the Sanitation Supervisor in implementation of the programs required to meet USDA and FDA regulations. They provide daily direction to team members related to activities of the sanitation team ensuring achievement to quality and production goals. Position: Sanitation Lead. Supervisor: Production Supervisor. Rate of Pay: $21.91 / hr. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Work Schedule: Third Shift, Monday through Friday 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Key Responsibilities
- Lead sanitation team(s).
- Oversee application of all sanitation control measures.
- Follow and provide input to master sanitation/cleaning schedule and associated checklists.
- Enforce all safety practices as directed by regulatory and company policies for equipment, sanitation, product safety and personal safety.
- Complete regular inventory checks and establish Min/ Max quantities necessary to maintain adequate quantities.
- Work with vendors and QC team to order needed supplies.
- Solicit feedback from teams and aid in identifying areas for improvement in chemical, labor and/or equipment performance.
- Provide direction, coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions as needed to ensure team performance.
- Develop and manage cross training program to develop a work force that is multi-task certified.
- Work with Supervisor to develop and administer work schedules.
- Assist in troubleshooting of equipment and or sanitation process related equipment.
- Assist with monthly Internal Audits and 3rd party Audits as needed.
- Ensure all required training is completed.
- Adhere to all policies, guidelines, and procedures, such as GMP, HACCP, and work and safety rules.
- Initiate disciplinary action as required based on clear and documented non-compliance events.
- Perform other duties as required.
