Materials Handler - Floater

Responsible for packaging, transferring and maintaining all product inventory. Performs appropriate systems transactions when required to document all inventory movement and keep the associated files up to date and compliant with all applicable company & industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assembles and packs boxes with applicable products.
  • Moves products between production departments.
  • Assists with receiving, counting of items, and storage of materials in applicable assigned locations.
  • Records inventory transactions where applicable, utilizing the Company system, including SAP.
  • Assists with picking of products for customer orders and corresponding instruction manuals.
  • Completes other stockroom duties as needed.
  • Prepares RIWO shipments for customers, trade shows, labs, and evaluations, as per a provided equipment list. Which includes loading crates and pallets for shipment by freight carrier and/or loading boxes and totes for shipment by FedEx.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with periodic inventory projects.
  • Accompanies service technicians to Prima Vista as needed for maintenance/testing of C-arm.
  • Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of material handling experience
  • Good verbal and written skills communications skills
  • Good time management skills, ability to prioritize workloads, and organizational skills.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Stock handling experience and SAP knowledge helpful
  • Good PC skills and familiarity with all MS Office suite products
  • Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
  • The following physical demands are required:
    1. Lift/Carry 25+ pounds
    2. Bend/Stoop/Kneel 4 hours per day
    3. Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day
    4. Push/pull 50+ pounds
