ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow detailed designs, producing most dies including compound, draw, single station dies.
• Setting up and trouble shooting most dies
• Working with all conventional Tool Room Equipment
• Working with all tool steels
• Working to sketches and verbal instructions.
• Safe operation of all Tool Room Equipment
• Working +/-.0002 and being able to use measuring instruments
• Willing to work with other Toolmakers
• Meeting all time standards
• Working on many jobs simultaneously
• Must keep work area neat and orderly
• Follow all applicable AS9100 procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

• Excellent Interpersonal skills
• Proficient in all Tool Room Equipment and all skills to meet the "Duties" section above
• Heat treating of Tool Steels

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years experience in CNC/Toolmaker Job
