Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting functions, including accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, inventory management, and intercompany transactions. Your efforts will directly contribute to the financial health and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage A/P including invoice review, work with corporate A/P to investigate and clear exception list, work with receiving and all other functions to ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Oversee GRNI and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with inventory including month-end close, physical inventory, reconciling inventory module in one system to general ledger in another system, maintain standard costing on in-house production and other tasks related to inventory as needed.
• Handle intercompany transactions ensuring we tie out with other sites, C-25/Corporate Ledger reconciliations.
• Reconcile all Amex/P-Card statements and receipts to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare month-end close journal entries such as: Royalties, Rebates, Commissions, Inventory and any other entries assigned by the Site Finance Leader.
• Reconcile A/R, clear and track payment discrepancies and disputes (Analyze and book bad debt based on aging).
• Assist with calculating the costing of product to the central data warehouse, review with site leadership and corporate to ensure accuracy.
• File Sales & Use Tax on a monthly basis.
• Support projections, budgets and monthly financial reporting as needed.
• Support annual external audit, recommend and implement process improvements; liaise with external auditors to meet requested information for the site's audit.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting
• 3+ years cost accounting experience
• G/L, A/R, A/P, Data Entry and daily accounting function responsibility
• Previous experience with inventory variance analysis
• Strong Microsoft Skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Word
• EPICOR, full ERP systems experience is a plus
