Overview
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for supporting a group of marketing product managers and the company, ensuring all activities comply with HIPAA requirements and Tactile Medical policies. This role develops and executes superior communications strategies and plans aligned with business goals and objectives, including product launches and other major marketing or internal communications solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive marketing communications solutions and plans that support the brand, programs and business objectives.
- Develop and implement marketing communications strategies and campaigns and monitor their success; defines key performance indicators to indicate levels of success.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to develop strategic marketing tools that are appealing and engaging to each audience.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate proactively to manage expectations, project timelines and logistics.
- Lead the content calendar for Awareness Campaigns, working with the marketing team to ensure consistent flow of relevant data directed to target audiences.
- Manage contractors (designers, writers, editors, other external resources) to assist in the creation of internal and external communications tools.
- Solicit feedback from sales partners to ensure continuous improvement for future development of materials.
- Act as the brand ambassador for the company and ensure compliance and operational policies across all departments.
- Partner with senior leaders to define department strategies and procedures.
- Provide financial reconciliation as needed.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Travel up to 20%.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
- BA or BS in a marketing, advertising, journalism, communications, public relations or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
Preferred:
- Experience in medical device, healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Experience with databases, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience leading and executing product launches and campaigns.
- Experience in digital and social media platforms.
- Experience briefing and managing outside resources including writers, agencies and creative partners.
Knowledge and Skill
- An experienced communications professional, and critical thinker with demonstrated extensive experience in creating and executing communications programs with measurable results.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing product launches.
- Exceptional project management skills; a collaborative team player adept at supporting multiple business priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to work as a team player in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing small- and large-scale Marketing Communications' projects.
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills. Adept at communicating with individuals at all levels of an organization.
- Proficient with email and social media channels and engagement.
- Ability to develop KPIs, goals and benchmarks to drive campaign performance.
- Expertise in MS Office and Outlook.
Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
$98,500 - $147,735
