Job Summary
The Digital team at the Kellogg School of Management is looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst supporting Kellogg's marketing initiatives and able to unpack the story behind the numbers to inform our Digital team and our internal clients on performance and optimization opportunities. This role requires an analytic thinker who is comfortable pulling data from disparate data sources to uncover opportunities for improvement in our efforts (from technical infrastructure & data collection to measurement & analysis) and guide future strategy.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop strong hypotheses, independently solve problems, and uncover business insights and opportunities across marketing channels, tactics, and audience segments to optimize spend and performance.
- Create, develop, and present compelling reports and dashboards that track KPIs, benchmark performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Support primary and secondary research on campaign/tactic effectiveness and the broader consumer journey.
- Operate seamlessly between being a business-savvy internal consultant and a highly technical analyst, with the ability to clearly communicate insights to senior leadership.
- Display strong logic, deductive reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Contribute to Kellogg's integrated marketing strategy by analyzing and reporting on performance of digital marketing channels including website, blog, email, social media, organic search, and paid search and how each channel can be optimized in support of efficient and effective lead acquisition and nurturing
- Curiosity and technical know-how to set up and refine digital tracking, data collection, KPIs, measurement and reporting (GTM, GA, third party tools)
Miscellaneous
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, experience, and any other certifications or clearances)
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, marketing or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with databases, reporting on data and working in an analytical capacity.
- 1+ years of digital marketing experience.
Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
- Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), web analytics (GA4) and CRM solutions (Salesforce, Slate).
- Strong presentational, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems.
- Ideal candidates will possess analytical skills and business acumen and a desire to continually hone them.
Preferred Qualifications: (Education and experience)
- 2-3 years of in digital marketing experience preferred
Preferred Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)
- Experience with Slate is a bonus.
Target hiring range for this position will be between $71,000 - $78,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
