The Role:

Manicurists/pedicurists work exclusively on the hands and feet, providing treatments to groom fingernails and toenails including applying artificial fingernails.

Responsibilities:

1. Removes previously applied nail polish using appropriate materials.
2. Cleans, shapes and smooths ends of nails.
3. Softens cuticles, pushes back cuticles and trims cuticles.
4. Conduct opening and closing duties as assigned.
5. Ensure sufficient stock of linens and supplies.
6. Keep work area neat and clean, free of any safety hazards.
7. Maintain current on latest nail products, techniques, and trends.
8. Upholds the Company's and the States safety and sanitary standards.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

Education and Experience:

Must have high school diploma or the equivalent. Must complete a state-approved cosmetology or nail technician program and pass state exam for licensure.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must have and maintain manicurist license from the State of Nevada.

Language Skills:

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills:

Point of Sale a plus.

Reasoning Ability:

Planning, Remembering Details, Using Arithmetic, Reading, Making Decisions, Discriminating colors, Working Rapidly, Working at Various Tempos, Concentrating Amid Distractions, Examining & Observing Details, Remembering names and Faces.

Physical Demand:

Standing, Walking, Reaching, Kneeling, Carrying, Pulling, Hearing, Sitting, Bending/Stooping, Observing, Stretching, Pushing, Turning.

Work Environment:

Inside, Dry, Heat, Odors, Gloves.
