This position is for overnight/third shifts only. RESPONSIBILITIES: Patrol lodging properties and call police in case of disorderly conduct and/or suspicious activities Ensure windows and doors are locked in unoccupied spaces Supervise and direct lodging security staff Train staff to be able to work safely from heights, activate or disable alarm systems as needed, and locate water valves, gas valves, fire extinguishers, and entrances and exits in case of emergency Patrol DV properties, looking for burnt out lights, opened doors, water leaks, and any unauthorized or suspicious vehicles or persons Assist guests with any problems related to the facilities including access, safety, and comfort issues Assist with after-hours check ins, courier duties, condo inspections, and responding to alarms Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Strong security/mechanical background preferred Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Night shifts required Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Job requires walking and stair climbing for the majority of the shift Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Year Round PAY RATE: Pay: $22.00 per hour Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
