MTM Staffing, brought to you by Southcoast Physician's Group, is now hiring experienced Mammography Technologist for our in-house traveler team!

    11-13 Week Assignment, with option to extend for 2 additional 13 week assignment if available
  • $80/hr
  • Health Insurance and 403B retirement plan eligible

Position Assignment Details:

  • Hours: Full Time or Part Time Available
  • Shifts: Day Shift with Saturday rotation (Approx. once a month)
  • Area Assignment: Center for Women's Health- Dartmouth, MA

*During assignment, may be asked to float to any Southcoast Facility based on need*

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within mammography and radiography as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patient's chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.



Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, and attainment of primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography RT(M).
  • Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
  • Must have a minimum of one year of related work experience.
  • Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired


Pay Range

USD $80.00 - USD $80.00 /Hr.
