Inova Health is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified (or eligible) Hand surgeon to join our team for a full-time position in our Springfield/Fairfax Locations.

Inova Orthopedic Services leads the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC metro area in helping people with arthritis, orthopedic illness, trauma or injury to regain their active lifestyles. Our Ortho specialties include groundbreaking, minimally invasive procedures to treat musculoskeletal diseases and injuries, including state-of-the-art joint replacement.

The Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine has 22 physicians, 7 office locations, outpatient surgery centers and co-located therapy clinics and supports Inova's five hospitals and large breadth of emergency and urgent care centers, outpatient services and destination institutes.

This opportunity requires Fellowship training and the position provides an opportunity to grow a robust hand, wrist and upper extremity practice in a complex and growing Health System.

Additional Requirements:



  • Education: MD or DO Degree
  • Experience: Completed ACGME residency training and subsequent fellowship with ABMS board certification in orthopedic surgery
  • Certification/Licensure: Current Virginia medical license and DEA, Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at all Inova Hospitals
