Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an environmental scientist or geologist with 3-5 years of experience to assist in planning and implementing due diligence and environmental assessment projects. Take responsible charge for collecting field data and environmental media samples, interpreting data and preparing technical reports. Work with a team of environmental professionals including professional engineers and professional geologists. This role is flexible with a hybrid schedule based out of our Tampa, FL office. The position will involve conducting environmental due diligence, environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater investigations, and remediation oversight and technical report preparation. Daily activities may include site reconnaissance, oversight of soil boring and monitoring wells installations using a drill rig, collection of soil and groundwater samples, laboratory data management, and report preparation. This position is expected to have a 30% - 60% balance between field and office work which will vary based on project needs. The ideal candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree in geology, earth science, environmental science, or environmental engineering. Responsibilities
