Availity is seeking an Events Manager to join their Marketing Team. Reporting into the Supervisor, Corporate Events, the Manager will be an organized, resourceful, and highly collaborative professional with the desire to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an integral member of the events team, the Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on wide variety of events including virtual events, tradeshows, corporate, and internal events. The Event Manager will ensure the Availity brand is well-represented and will drive lead generation through creative and engaging experiences to maximize Availity's ROI on events. The candidate will deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

To be qualified for this role, you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, or related field or equivalent years of experience.

  • 3-5 years of events experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Experience managing events from pre-event communication to post event surveys and reporting is required for this role. Healthcare, technology, or healthcare-technology industry experience is a plus.

  • Attention to detail: Focused on delivering a consistent and quality event experience

  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple competing projects and tasks on time and on budget.

  • Experience working in a project management tool such as Asana or Robohead.

  • Experience with event technology software and virtual event platforms

  • Working knowledge of marketing operations technology such as Pardot and Salesforce

  • Strong understanding of event management technologies and innovative event tactics.

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite products.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

What you will be doing:

  • Planning and executing marketing tradeshows to support lead generation and brand recognition for approximately15-20 marketing events per year.

  • Project managing corporate events through end-to-end project management with timelines, budgets, and deliverables within a project management system.

  • Adhering to tradeshow budgets for each event, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines

  • Coordinating registration and attendee tracking, presentation and marketing collateral support, food and beverage, meeting room coordination, pre- and post-event promotions and evaluations.

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders at marketing tradeshows, overseeing setup and teardown for a seamless event experience.

  • Preparing and delivering pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs to key stakeholders.

  • Researching potential event locations and evaluating alternatives.

  • Utilizing event technology software to develop registration websites for various corporate events

  • Partnering with Creative team to develop, order and manage tradeshow and event swag

  • Managing the selection process and execution of the yearly Growth Leadership Awards presented at Growth Kick-off.

  • Conducting research on industry events and proposing new opportunities to increase market reach.

  • Tracking and reporting on key event metrics, including ROI, attendance, lead generation, and engagement rates.

  • Providing marketing operations support for tracking event attendance in Salesforce.

  • Utilizing data and feedback to optimize future events and continuously improve the attendee experience.
