Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Coordinate the development of new material and updates to existing material, with both marketing teams and practitioners;
  • Create first draft/template of news announcements for internal and external posting, as directed;
  • Coordinate with practitioners to maintain master resumes, project descriptions, and imagery;
  • Prepare proposal/SOQ pursuit memo (guide to preparing the deliverable);
  • Assist with the preparation and/or assembly of written and visual information for client presentations;
  • Assist in maintaining scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements;
  • Help to produce SOQs/proposals, including editing and graphics; prepare for digital and/or print reproduction;
  • Handle production and confirm needed resources to ensure on-time delivery of SOQs/proposals;
  • Gather content from team and consultants as needed; maintain content libraries / winning examples-templates;
  • Organize and develop task lists from pre submittal meeting recordings and notes as directed, monitor sources of industry related market information; distribute potential leads to proposal and marketing teams;
  • Review, cull and maintain select sources of industry-related market information that supports a proposal pursuit;
  • Gather research data related to clients; competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience;
  • Track & distribute events planning info to practitioners and research event attendees and enter industry event information; and
  • Maintain corporate memberships in industry and client organizations & key meeting calendars.


Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience, Associates degree and 4 years of experience, or 6 years of marketing experience. (required)
  • Experience in engineering, architecture, commercial construction or legal firm. (preferred)
  • Experience with the production of technical proposals and reports. (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of production techniques to support proposal, presentation, or other sales and marketing activities. (required)
  • Formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. (required)
  • Advanced computer literacy using MS applications and Desktop Publishing Software (Adobe Suite, including Acrobat, InDesign, Office Professional, Outlook). (required)
  • Windows proficiency including, MS Professional (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and typing ability. (required)

This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec's total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.

  • Minimum Salary: $53,200/year / Maximum Salary: $74,480/year (Columbia, MD)
