Description

GAI Consultants is looking for a Senior CMS Manager to support our Transportation Business Sector in Indiana to serve as Construction Services Manager for the state and private clients.

Job Duties:



  • Manage and Staff CEI teams on highway road and bridge projects for various clients throughout the state of Indiana including but not limited to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW), and other public and private clients.
  • Direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection programs.
  • Plan and organize the work of subordinates and staff members.
  • Actively market projects and lead proposal preparation.
  • Manage existing client relationships and develop new clients with the firm.
  • Oversee completeness and accuracy of the project team's work by actively supervising and guiding the team to overall project objectives.
  • Perform project management duties and other tasks as required.


Other preferred duties/certifications:



  • Site Manager certified or ability to obtain within 120 days of appointment
  • Ability to be DPW CIP certified within 120 days of appointment
  • City of Fort Wayne PMIS trained within 120 days of appointment
  • Ability to perform field inspection duties, fill in for employees as needed
  • Thorough understanding of INDOT & DPW standards and specifications
  • Ability to train employees in inspection procedures

Education
High School of Diploma (required)
Experience
15 years: Manage and Staff CEI teams on highway road and bridge projects for various clients throughout the state of Indiana including but not limited to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW), and other public and private clients. (required)
