A large healthcare company in Wellington is seeking a senior accountant to join their team! *Job Description:* * Responsible for monthly reporting and analysis of hospital-wide financial data * Assist in financial processes of month end, audit and statutory reporting * Maintain balance sheet accounts and prepare reconciliations on a monthly basis * Prepare financial package for corporate office * Supervise accounts payable department * Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization * Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements * Maintains the general ledger * Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books * Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks * Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections * Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts *Education and Experience:* * Bachelors degree in Accounting, or related field, required * At least three years of related experience required *Work Setting* * Monday - Friday in office for training, then hybrid Qualified candidates encouraged to apply! *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $82000.00/hr. * Medical, dental & vision * Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital * 401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available * Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program * Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) *Workplace Type* This is a fully onsite position in Wellington,FL. *Application Deadline* This position will be accepting applications until Dec 6, 2024.
