Hybrid schedule - 3 days remote and 2 in office. Description: Primary responsibilities will be handling the payment posting for a multi-physician Oncology practice, specifically handling all the RX postings. Electronic and manual posting, along with a clear understanding of primary and secondary insurance is important. This will be a high volume positions, metrics will be tracked with the expectation of holding an average of 50 tickets touched per day. This will vary by the dollar amount associated with the ticket, which is why it is a average being measured. Productivity reports sent at the end of every day. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Someone who is experienced within Medical Billing. They must be able to explain the process of posting payments, manual and electronic, corrected claims, EOB'S, primary and secondary payments. Preferred to have minimum 3-4 years experience within medical billing in a high volume, metric based facility. They currently collect $20-25 million a month as a company. Strong attention to detail, must be organized and quick learner. Effort is key in this role. A go-getter who is eager to continue to grow and develop. Understand concept of working and maintaining patient collections Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, HMO and Third Party payer billing guidelines Strong AR background Ability to comprehend EOB's, work denials and knowledge of appeals process Knowledge of billing secondary and tertiary carriers Experienced with clearinghouse claims correction and resubmission of claims Strong written communication and organizational skills Effective interpersonal skills with ability to handle heavy patient interaction Ability to effectively multi- task and prioritize assignments Experience Level: Intermediate Level About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
