Respiratory Care Assistant I - NICU
Overview Contingent, working at least 8hrs per week, Evening Shift (3pm-11pm) Flexible schedule to work around school Must be currently enrolled in your 1st year Responsible for performing respiratory care therapies as allowed by the Limited Permit and equipment setup, under the direction and supervision of a Respiratory Care Professional (RCP). Demonstrates competence as defined (*) in Respiratory Care Assistant responsibilities in providing ageappropriatecare and service to patients from the age of birth to 21 years, and selected adult patients. Responsibilities
Reviews the patient chart for current respiratory care orders. Reviews other patient data (e.g., PFT's,
ABG's, and history) to ensure appropriate planning and administration of ordered therapy. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED 1.
