CNC Operator - 2nd shift

Acara Solutions is seeking a CNC Operator for our client in Phelps, NY!

We are seeking qualified candidates with:

• The ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic understanding of G-code
• Experience operating CNC machinery

Here's what you'll do:

• Read drawings and blueprints.
• Operate assigned CNC machinery, including both mills and lathes.
• Complete set-up and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain oil, coolants, etc. for machines.
• Keep accurate records and maintain a clean work area.
• Measure parts and maintain close tolerances.
• Responsible for quality, quantity, and safety.

Position Type: Direct Placement

Pay: Up to $21/hr. **Depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 2^nd shift - 4:15PM-2:25AM (4 10-hour days)

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• CNC Machining Degree/Certification, or High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of practical experience operating CNC machinery.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using measurement tools (owns and maintains own set).
• Familiarity with quality standards and procedures.
• Possesses a strong work ethic with integrity and authenticity.
