Innovation Engineering Department

The Innovation Engineering team is responsible for the development of standards, templates, specifications, and owner's requirements documents in support of Vantage's global growth, most notably leading the Vantage prototyping effort known as OneDesign.

The team collaborates with all multi-functional teams within Vantage to drive prototypical designs for global deployment to ensure high quality, consistent product deployments in alignment with constantly evolving internal and external customer requirements. In addition to standards development, the Innovation Engineering team is responsible for leading due diligence assessment of merger and acquisition opportunity, and development of design requirements for customer build to suit opportunities.

Position Overview

This role is based in Denver, CO

The Product Owner, NA will report directly to the Product Manager, Global and be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing product features that align with the company's strategic goals. This role is critical in translating the product roadmap into actionable tasks for the development team, ensuring that products deliver exceptional value to customers and meet the overall business objectives

The Product Owner is an essential member of the product team and plays a key role in guiding the product development process from concept to launch. This role requires a strategic individual who can effectively manage the product roadmap, make informed decisions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Essential Job Functions

  • Prioritize and manage the product roadmap and backlog, continuously refining it based on customer feedback, departmental goals, and evolving business priorities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product features are developed according to specifications and delivered on time.

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to shape product strategy and improve the user experience.

  • Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to capture feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment on product direction.

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle through activities inclusive of project management and launch planning and execution.

  • Ensure that new products meet established quality standards and customer expectations.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the product team, implementing insights from Lessons Learned meetings across projects and regions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.

  • Experience with project and/or product management tools, methodologies, and lifecycle.

  • Proven ability to prioritize a product roadmap and backlog, write detailed user stories, and manage product development activities from concept to launch.

  • Proven ability to deliver detailed, accurate product requirements and adjust quickly to shifting priorities.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Experience in the design, construction, and delivery of data centers and infrastructure projects is highly desirable

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support colleagues.

  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, fluid organization with a minimal amount of direction.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

  • PMP, optional

  • National and international travel required is expected to be between 5% and 10% but may vary over time as the business evolves

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $110,000 -$130,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
