DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role is integral to the financial oversight functions within the Federal Grants and Audits Unit of the Bureau of Fiscal Management. It entails managing fiscal responsibilities associated with a range of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grant programs, including activities funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $58,035.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1; or
  • One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
