Ambulatory Operations Manager

Under direction of the Program Administrator, the Ambulatory Operations Manager coordinates operations and care processes within the assigned ambulatory practice and inpatient services. Provides general support and project management in data collection and analysis, community outreach, marketing, quality and safety, compliance, and patient experience. Facilitates accurate and timely entry of patient charges through analysis and provider support.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business management, health care administration, or related field required.

Licensures/Certifications:

Experience:

Three years' relevant experience in health care operations and management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes achievement of GBMC mission, vision, values, and the four aims; Moves improvement work forward; Assists in identification, prioritization, and implementation of process improvement projects and goals.
  • Audits and monitors Agency compliance with regulations, and GBMC policies and procedures.
  • Manages operational and administrative functions for areas of responsibility, providing day-to-day oversight and supervision; oversees multifaceted computerized scheduling and billing processes; coordinates with staff, third-party vendors, and other healthcare system departments to ensure delivery of care.
  • Maintains file of complete and accurate Agency staffing.
  • Supports the overall measurement, tracking, and improvement of patient experience and access; participates in the planning and promotion of community outreach and marketing activities.
  • Data/metrics and trends reporting.
  • Under direction of administrators and directors assists in maintaining and documenting compliance with regulatory standards; assists in the maintenance of policies, procedures, and standard work.
  • Establish effective relationships and open lines of communication.
  • Manages human resources within established productivity guidelines and the personnel budget. Facilitates onboarding, training and development efforts. Maintains employee competencies. Monitors and reviews work performance of the staff. Interviews and selects personnel. Addresses employee performance and corrective actions plans with confidentiality.
  • Agency Time and Attendance tracking.
  • Supports data collection and analysis to facilitate key performance indicators and safety, quality, and process improvement work;
  • Performs other project work and duties as assigned.
  • Navigates the healthcare system and provides resources to patients and physicians when needed. Gathers materials, obtains documents and background information, and assists in development and preparation of a variety of confidential, specialized, and/or recurring reports and other purposes.
  • Ensures equipment and supply levels are appropriately maintained by maintaining records, arranging for repairs, and recommending new supplies.

Pay Range

$51,351.55 - $79,594.90

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
