Job Summary:
The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH) Medical Student Education Coordinator works alongside the Director of the Office of Medical Student Education (OMSE), Program Manager, and another Medical Student Education Coordinator to support undergraduate medical students as they rotate in Family Medicine. This individual will serve as a liaison between course directors, learners, clinical staff, faculty, and institutional offices. Related activities may include schedule building, assigning and tracking evaluations, coordinating learning sessions, and supporting day-to-day administration of medical student education. Responsibilities: Coordinates and contributes to the development and implementation of the administrative activities of a health professions program as outlined in accreditation program requirements and other regulatory agencies. Must utilize fundamental knowledge of these requirements to manage workflow components of the administrative and professional responsibilities for the program's learners while serving as the primary liaison between program or course directors, learners, clinical and basic science teaching faculty, institutional offices, and affiliated teaching sites concerning program matters.
