KROC CENTER MISSION In keeping with the mission of The Salvation Army, The Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center provides facilities, programs and services that encourage, enrich, and strengthen children, adults, and seniors through positive life-changing experiences. SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Child Watch Attendant will be responsible for the nurture and supervision of all children participating in the temporary on-site care offered by the RJKCCC. The Child Watch Attendant will develop activities to entertain, teach, and mentor young children while their parents / guardians participate in Kroc programs and events. This 18 hour a week position is mainly needed for the afternoon/evening shift (3pm-close) but flexibility to work some daytime hours is preferred. MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT: Uses a variety of office equipment including a computer, telephone, fax machine, copiers, printers and projection machines. Operate motor vehicles in the execution of some essential functions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older and have 1 year of relevant work experience with children. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: First Aid, CPR and AED Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
